Bus drivers in Lagos (especially on the this lekki/Ajah axis) don’t have joy at all.

So, I had an appointment for 7am, I had some wedding guests that I needed to tie gele for.

so I left the house at about 5:30 am, to beat traffic that ended up beating me wotowoto 😭😭😭.

I boarded a bus going to Obalende, the conductor was just shouting, obalende, 700, lekki, falomo 700, I was like, lekki 700 ke, what’s going on here, when did this one start naw? when I don already calculate how much I get from this home service, what is this fadalawd 🙉🙉🙉

Anyway sha, I won’t get to lekki phase one bus stop, since, he said Ikate 500,and I'm stopping at Maruwa bus stop, my money might be 500, I convinced my self and entered the bus.

The next thing I heard was owo da, so to confirm, I asked the conductor again.

How much to Maruwa, omo! If you see the way this conductor shout for me ehh, mtcheew!

I jejely brought out the 700 naira from my bag and paid o.

Imagine, 700 from Ajah to Maruwa bus stop. On top of that, them still shout for me, whether I deaf?

This is a cry for help, somebody should come and take me away from this country, I’m not doing again 😭😭😭.
